Scott took a unique path to a career in financial services. He began his career as a CPA with Coopers and Lybrand, but found that something was missing. “When I worked as an accountant, I found that most of my work was reactive, rather than focusing on the future. Accountants are trained to make the best of things that have passed. Planners, I learned, focus on the future.”With that in mind, Scott earned a Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from Saint Joseph’s University and in 2005 he joined MassMutual Greater Philadelphia. His clients have one thing in common: they value a very personal relationship with a professional advisor. “Everything starts with a conversation,” notes Scott. “When it’s a good match, we both know it. Financial decisions are highly personal, and only work when you achieve a customized fit for your particular needs.” Scott has earned the (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designations.
